How does per-seat billing work?
Every member of the workspace is a seat. Invite somebody and the subscription grows by one, charged only for the part of the period that is left; remove them and that comes back as a credit. There is no cap on how many people you can add — you are simply billed for the ones who are there.
What happens when we outgrow three people?
The next person to accept an invitation is told the workspace is full. Nobody is removed, and nothing you have written is touched — you upgrade when you are ready, and they join.
What if we stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. Everyone already in the workspace stays, history older than the free window is hidden rather than destroyed and returns the moment you come back, and a page you had restricted to named people stays restricted — a lapsed plan can never make a private page public.
Is publishing a paid feature?
No. Publishing a page so anyone with the link can read it is on the free plan and always will be. What Pro adds is restricting a published page to named addresses or to everyone at your domain.
Can we get our writing out?
Any time, on any plan. Markdown, HTML and PDF, one page or a whole branch as a zip — all of it produced in your browser, so nothing is uploaded anywhere to be converted.
Do we need a card to start?
No. There is no trial that expires and no card on file — the free plan is a plan, not a countdown.
